Kimitoön: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased 72 percent
In January 2020, 1,300 bed nights were recorded in Kimitoön (+71.5 %), of which 1,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 154 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 55 percent and foreign bed nights increased 760 percent. In total, bed nights increased 72 percent from last year's January.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 50 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kimitoön on average 1.6 nights (+0.07) and foreigners 7.7 nights (+4.7).
