Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 60 percent

In February 2020, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Kimitoön (+59.9 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 0.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 60 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 100 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 60 percent from last year's February.

Between January and February, 2,700 registered bed nights (+58.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 154 (+600.0 %) for foreigners in Kimitoön, in total 2,900 (+64.8 %) registered nights.

Total accommodation sales in February were 133,000 euro (+31,900). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 61.0 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 51,900 euro (-32,600) and non-registered sales 81,300 euro (+64,500).

Total January-February sales were 259,000 euro and they increased 113,000 euro from the previous year.
