5,000 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 5,000 bed nights (+21.8 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Kimitoön in November 2020. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 35 % and non-registered 65 %.
Between January and November, the number of paid bed nights was 88,500 (+55.6 %). Share of registered was 40 % and non-registered 60 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded. Non-registered bed nights statistics include bed nights from AirBnB and Vrbo.
Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 51 percent
In November 2020, 1,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Kimitoön (+50.7 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 0.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 58 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 100 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 51 percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 35,200 registered bed nights (+22.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 500 (-74.8 %) for foreigners in Kimitoön, in total 35,700 (+16.4 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased five percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. In Kimitoön, length of stay in November was on average 1.6 nights and in Finland 2.0 nights (+15.8 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 43 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 100.0 percent were domestic, and 0.0 percent were from foreign countries.

Accommodation sales 228,000 euro
Total accommodation sales in November were 228,000 euro (+101,000). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 67.0 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 75,400 euro (+46,600) and non-registered sales 153,000 euro (+53,900).
Total January-November sales were 3.7 million euro and they increased 1.8 million euro from the previous year.
