In March 2021, 40,400 bed nights were recorded in Kittilä (-19.5 %), of which 39,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 850 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 96 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 20 percent from last year's March.
28,900 nights (-22.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 11,600 nights (-11.5 %) by business visitors.

Total accommodation sales in March were 3.3 million euro (-1.5 million). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 38.9 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 2.0 million euro (-1.7 million) and non-registered sales 1.3 million euro (+144,000).
