32,900 registered bed nights (November)
In November 2019, 32,900 bed nights were recorded in Kittilä (-7.9 %), of which 19,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 13,500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased five percent and foreign bed nights decreased 21 percent. In total, bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 244,000 bed nights (-1.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 191,000 (-3.0 %) for foreigners in Kittilä, in total 435,000 (-1.9 %) nights.
20,300 nights (-3.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 12,700 nights (-13.7 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Total of 1.6 million bed nights (+4.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (+5.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 453,000 nights (+3.4 %) by foreigners.
The market share of Kittilä out of total bed nights was 2.1 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.8 % and foreign bed nights 3.0 %.
11,700 tourists arrived to accommodation (November)
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 68.0 percent were domestic, and 32.0 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kittilä on average 2.4 nights (-0.19) and foreigners 3.6 nights (+0.02).

The number of international congress quests increased 260 percent from the previous year.
There was a total of 2.0 congresses organized (+1.0) in 2018.
7,800 air travelers (November)
The airport received a total of 7,800 passengers, which means air passenger arrivals decreased 25 percent.
Of local passengers, 4.8 % arrived from abroad, thus the share of domestic passengers was 95.2 %.
In addition, there were 5,900 passengers departing the airport (-23.5 %), therefore the total number of trips via the airport was 13,700.

Accommodation sales 2.0 million euro (November)
Total accommodation sales in November were 2.0 million euro (+477,000). The share of Airbnb was 9.2 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 1.8 million euro (+392,000) and Airbnb sales 167,000 euro (+84,700).
Total January-November sales were 25.5 million euro and they increased 2.3 million euro from the previous year.
