Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 63 percent

In December 2018, 1,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Klippan (+62.8 %), of which 1,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 32 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 63 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (310 nights).

450 rooms (+151.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 640 rooms (+69.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 34,000 registered bed nights (+29.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,100 (+20.6 %) for foreigners in Klippan, in total 42,100 (+27.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. In Klippan, length of stay in December was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-0.1 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Klippan on average 1.6 nights (+3.6 %) and foreigners 2.6 nights (-23.9 %).
