Registered bed nights increased nine percent
In May 2021, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Klippan (+9.2 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 92 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 230 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (28 nights).
200 rooms (+277.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 165 rooms (-10.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 5,300 registered bed nights (-9.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 220 (-84.0 %) for foreigners in Klippan, in total 5,600 (-23.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 830 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.4 percent were domestic, and 3.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Klippan on average 2.5 nights (-19) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-12).
