6,700 registered bed nights (April)

In April 2023, 6,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Kokkola (-11.5 %), of which 6,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 740 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Sweden (86 nights).

2,800 nights (-26.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,900 nights (+3.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 23,400 registered bed nights (-1.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (+108.3 %) for foreigners in Kokkola, in total 27,000 (+5.8 %) registered nights.

Total accommodation sales in April were 601,000 euro (+63,000). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 6.8 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 560,000 euro (+58,400) and non-registered sales 40,700 euro (+4,600).

Total January-April sales were 2.3 million euro and they increased 509,000 euro from the previous year.
