Registered bed nights increased 52 percent
In February 2021, 11,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Kongsberg Region (+51.6 %), of which 10,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 770 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 56 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 52 percent from last year's February.
1,600 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 2,500 nights by business visitors.
Between January and February, 15,700 registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,500 (-43.0 %) for foreigners in Kongsberg Region, in total 17,200 (-3.6 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 3.1 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 39 percent compared to earlier year. In Kongsberg Region, length of stay in February was on average 3.1 nights and in Norway 2.6 nights (+31.2 %).
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kongsberg Region on average 3.0 nights (+6.1 %) and foreigners 5.1 nights (+122.2 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 148 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.9 percent were domestic, and 4.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kongsberg Region on average 3.0 nights (-2.3) and foreigners 5.1 nights (+1.6).
