2,900 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Köping (-42.4 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 51 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 92 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 42 percent from last year's June.

210 rooms (-62.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,300 rooms (-41.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 12,800 registered bed nights (-31.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 540 (-80.0 %) for foreigners in Köping, in total 13,400 (-37.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Köping out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 40 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.9 percent were domestic, and 2.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Köping on average 2.3 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.15).
