Paid bed nights

4,300 registered bed nights

In September 2018, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Köping (-1.9 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 880 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 54 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased two percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (169 nights).

400 rooms (+48.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,500 rooms (-6.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 32,200 registered bed nights (+9.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,700 (-26.8 %) for foreigners in Köping, in total 39,900 (-0.1 %) registered nights.

The market share of Köping out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 19 percent compared to earlier year. In Köping, length of stay in September was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Köping on average 2.1 nights (+13.7 %) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-18.6 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.0 percent were domestic, and 17.0 percent were from foreign countries.
