Registered bed nights increased 11 percent (Kotka-Hamina And Lovisa Region)

In October 2022, 14,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Kotka-Hamina And Lovisa Region (+11.5 %), of which 12,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's October.

Accommodation sales 1.3 million euro (Kotka-Hamina And Lovisa Region)

Total accommodation sales in October were 1.3 million euro (+268,000). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 16.4 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 1.1 million euro (+216,000) and non-registered sales 209,000 euro (+52,500).

Total January-October sales were 13.1 million euro and they increased 980,000 euro from the previous year.
