Paid bed nights

3,400 registered bed nights

In March 2023, 3,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Kramfors (-26.8 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 27 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Austria (200 nights).

1,200 rooms (-9.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (-35.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 6,900 registered bed nights (-12.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,400 (-15.9 %) for foreigners in Kramfors, in total 8,400 (-12.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.9 million registered bed nights (+4.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.2 million nights (+2.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 747,000 nights (+15.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kramfors out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 20 percent compared to earlier year. In Kramfors, length of stay in March was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-6.3 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kramfors on average 1.7 nights (-24.8 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (-1.9 %).

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.8 percent were domestic, and 7.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kramfors on average 1.7 nights (-0.35) and foreigners 3.8 nights (-1.5).
