Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 13 percent

In February 2020, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Kramfors (+13.1 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 32 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 13 percent from last year's February.

850 rooms (+7.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (-15.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 4,400 registered bed nights (+23.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 460 (-42.6 %) for foreigners in Kramfors, in total 4,800 (+10.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (+3.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.5 million nights (+5.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 935,000 nights (-2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kramfors out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased eight percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Kramfors, length of stay in February was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-3.1 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kramfors on average 1.7 nights (+14.0 %) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-35.2 %).

1,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.8 percent were domestic, and 7.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kramfors on average 1.7 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-1.7).
