Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 78 percent

In May 2021, 11,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Kramfors (+77.6 %), of which 10,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 910 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 70 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 280 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 78 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (260 nights).

1,700 rooms (+139.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+111.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 16,800 registered bed nights (+20.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (-2.5 %) for foreigners in Kramfors, in total 18,100 (+18.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kramfors out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Kramfors, length of stay in May was on average 3.0 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kramfors on average 2.9 nights (+7.9 %) and foreigners 8.2 nights (+61.6 %).

3,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.0 percent were domestic, and 3.0 percent were from foreign countries.
