7,800 registered bed nights

In December 2020, 7,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Kristianstad (-31.0 %), of which 7,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 26 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 62 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Lithuania (127 nights).

1,300 rooms (-49.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (-40.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 305,000 registered bed nights (+1.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,700 (-70.9 %) for foreigners in Kristianstad, in total 325,000 (-11.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 32 percent compared to earlier year. In Kristianstad, length of stay in December was on average 2.9 nights and in Sweden 2.8 nights (+37.5 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kristianstad on average 2.9 nights (+10.1 %) and foreigners 3.0 nights (-0.3 %).
