Registered bed nights increased 24 percent

In September 2021, 5,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Kristinehamn (+24.0 %), of which 4,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 610 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 59 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (240 nights).

980 rooms (+26.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (-12.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 50,800 registered bed nights (+13.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,800 (+148.9 %) for foreigners in Kristinehamn, in total 60,600 (+24.1 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 27 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.3 percent were domestic, and 11.7 percent were from foreign countries.
