Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 21 percent

In March 2021, 3,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Krokom (+21.4 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 182 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 21 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (88 nights).

480 rooms (-9.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 197 rooms (-10.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,200 registered bed nights (+20.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 330 (-59.3 %) for foreigners in Krokom, in total 9,600 (+13.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Krokom out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 30 percent compared to earlier year. In Krokom, length of stay in March was on average 5.5 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).
