Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 24 percent

In May 2021, 4,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Krokom (+23.9 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 157 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 74 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (88 nights).

250 rooms (+130.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 410 rooms (+366.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 15,800 registered bed nights (+26.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 640 (-35.4 %) for foreigners in Krokom, in total 16,500 (+22.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Krokom out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 3.0 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. In Krokom, length of stay in May was on average 3.0 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Krokom on average 3.0 nights (-1.8 %) and foreigners 4.5 nights (+89.4 %).
