Kronoberg County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased one percent
In October 2019, 65,200 bed nights were recorded in Kronoberg County (+1.1 %), of which 44,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 20,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased five percent and foreign bed nights increased 17 percent. In total, bed nights increased one percent from last year's October.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (9,700 nights).
Between January and October, 507,000 bed nights (-1.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 424,000 (+6.6 %) for foreigners in Kronoberg County, in total 931,000 (+2.3 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
