Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 147 percent

In November 2021, 53,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Kronoberg County (+147.3 %), of which 47,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 149 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 136 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 147 percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,600 nights).

13,300 rooms (+151.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 22,700 rooms (+130.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 524,000 registered bed nights (+18.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 280,000 (+84.1 %) for foreigners in Kronoberg County, in total 804,000 (+35.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (+134.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+133.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 575,000 nights (+145.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kronoberg County out of total registered bed nights was 1.5 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.5 % and foreign bed nights 1.1 %.

Length of stay was 1.7 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Kronoberg County, length of stay in November was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-21.7 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kronoberg County on average 1.6 nights (+0.3 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-17.9 %).

31,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 199 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.7 percent were domestic, and 7.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kronoberg County on average 1.6 nights (-0.33) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-0.54).
