Kungsbacka: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 158 percent
In January 2022, 4,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Kungsbacka (+158.0 %), of which 3,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 450 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 141 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 490 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 158 percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (145 nights).
1,300 rooms (+162.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+124.3 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 220 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.8 percent were domestic, and 4.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kungsbacka on average 1.5 nights (-0.49) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+1.7).
