Registered bed nights increased 121 percent

In April 2021, 6,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Kungsbacka (+121.1 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 178 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 119 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 197 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 121 percent from last year's April.

2,000 rooms (+149.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 720 rooms (+92.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 14,700 registered bed nights (-6.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 430 (-42.2 %) for foreigners in Kungsbacka, in total 15,100 (-8.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kungsbacka out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 163 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.0 percent were domestic, and 2.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kungsbacka on average 1.9 nights (-0.37) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.47).
