16,700 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 16,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (-21.9 %), of which 16,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 182 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 22 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (119 nights).

840 rooms (-61.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 510 rooms (-19.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 33,700 registered bed nights (-17.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 760 (-89.6 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 34,400 (-28.5 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Laholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

5,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 35 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.3 percent were domestic, and 1.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.8 nights (+0.34) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.05).
