Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased seven percent

In December 2017, 3,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (+7.4 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 196 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 58 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased seven percent from last year's December.

480 rooms (+13.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 420 rooms (-0.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 138,000 registered bed nights (+0.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 21,800 (+5.3 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 160,000 (+1.1 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. In Laholm, length of stay in December was on average 2.9 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+1.0 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.9 nights (+3.8 %) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+5.1 %).
