Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent

In June 2019, 21,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (+9.9 %), of which 17,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,700 nights).

1,300 rooms (+16.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 420 rooms (-12.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 40,800 registered bed nights (-2.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,300 (+8.1 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 48,200 (-1.0 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.3 percent

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Laholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased seven percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Laholm, length of stay in June was on average 2.7 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.9 nights (+5.7 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (+10.1 %).

7,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 77.4 percent were domestic, and 22.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.9 nights (+0.28) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.02).
