Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased two percent

In July 2019, 52,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (+2.2 %), of which 42,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased three percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased less than one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's July.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (3,700 nights).

2,300 rooms (-8.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 260 rooms (-36.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and July, 83,000 registered bed nights (+0.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,100 (+3.1 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 100,000 (+0.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 13.5 million registered bed nights (+5.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 9.3 million nights (+4.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 4.2 million nights (+5.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Laholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased four percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. In Laholm, length of stay in July was on average 3.0 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (+0.3 %).

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 3.1 nights (+4.2 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+11.1 %).

17,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 79.1 percent were domestic, and 20.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 3.1 nights (+0.06) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.28).
