Paid bed nights

9,100 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 9,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (-15.6 %), of which 9,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 131 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased six percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 89 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 16 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (60 nights).

220 rooms (-77.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 86 rooms (-89.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 17,100 registered bed nights (-25.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 580 (-84.7 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 17,700 (-33.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.2 million registered bed nights (-58.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.1 million nights (-49.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 176,000 nights (-86.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Laholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 34 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 34 percent compared to earlier year. In Laholm, length of stay in May was on average 2.9 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (+30.7 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.9 nights (+24.0 %) and foreigners 2.8 nights (-0.7 %).

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.
