Registered bed nights increased 11 percent

In September 2020, 8,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Laholm (+10.6 %), of which 7,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 460 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 58 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's September.

1,100 rooms (-20.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 700 rooms (-23.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 104,000 registered bed nights (-4.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,500 (-85.0 %) for foreigners in Laholm, in total 107,000 (-19.0 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.3 percent

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-20.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 436,000 nights (-62.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Laholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.2 percent were domestic, and 6.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Laholm on average 2.3 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.02).
