20,400 registered bed nights (April)
In April 2023, 20,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Lahti (-9.6 %), of which 18,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 25 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 10 percent from last year's April.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (330 nights).
6,800 nights (-43.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 13,600 nights (+28.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 61,600 registered bed nights (-3.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,400 (+112.7 %) for foreigners in Lahti, in total 85,000 (+14.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
Paid bed nights forecast, Lahti
In June 2023, the number of bed nights in paid accommodation is expected to increase by 1.5 % compared to the previous year.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.7 percent were domestic, and 7.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lahti on average 1.5 nights (-0.12) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-0.29).
