Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In September 2021, 13,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Landskrona (+17.9 %), of which 12,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's September.

3,100 rooms (+37.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,100 rooms (+12.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 135,000 registered bed nights (-2.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,300 (+1.7 %) for foreigners in Landskrona, in total 147,000 (-2.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Landskrona out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

7,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.2 percent were domestic, and 11.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Landskrona on average 1.9 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.37).
