Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In September 2018, 19,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Landskrona (+18.2 %), of which 16,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (940 nights).

3,700 rooms (+135.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,400 rooms (-20.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 145,000 registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 37,600 (+3.3 %) for foreigners in Landskrona, in total 182,000 (+3.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (-0.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (-1.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (+2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Landskrona out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased 15 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Landskrona, length of stay in September was on average 4.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Landskrona on average 3.8 nights (+6.6 %) and foreigners 8.2 nights (+1.2 %).

4,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.0 percent were domestic, and 8.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Landskrona on average 3.8 nights (+0.59) and foreigners 8.2 nights (+1.3).
