Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased two percent

In March 2019, 10,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Landskrona (+2.1 %), of which 8,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased three percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's March.

1,300 rooms (-5.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,000 rooms (+39.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 22,700 registered bed nights (-6.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,700 (+7.8 %) for foreigners in Landskrona, in total 27,400 (-4.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.5 million registered bed nights (-3.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.6 million nights (-1.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 888,000 nights (-12.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Landskrona out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 3.5 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. In Landskrona, length of stay in March was on average 3.5 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-4.6 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Landskrona on average 3.3 nights (-18.4 %) and foreigners 5.0 nights (+1.7 %).

3,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 32 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.9 percent were domestic, and 11.1 percent were from foreign countries.
