Registered bed nights increased three percent
In January 2022, 8,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Länsi-Uusimaa (+3.5 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 18 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 460 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's January.
4,000 nights (-39.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 4,500 nights (+179.4 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

3,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 27 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.6 percent were domestic, and 9.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Länsi-Uusimaa on average 1.8 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 5.6 nights (+4.4).
