In January 2021, 8,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Länsi-Uusimaa (-51.3 %), of which 7,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 370 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 85 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 51 percent from last year's January.
6,600 nights (-46.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,600 nights (-65.2 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Länsi-Uusimaa, length of stay in January was on average 1.5 nights and in Finland 2.2 nights (+12.1 %).
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Länsi-Uusimaa on average 1.5 nights and foreigners 1.2 nights .

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 43 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.1 percent were domestic, and 5.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Länsi-Uusimaa on average 1.5 nights (-0.12) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-1.9).
