19,500 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 19,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Leksand (-53.4 %), of which 19,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 109 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 50 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 96 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 53 percent from last year's June.

6,200 rooms (-44.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 580 rooms (-82.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 74,700 registered bed nights (-36.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-79.7 %) for foreigners in Leksand, in total 75,800 (-38.1 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Leksand out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

9,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 53 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.6 percent were domestic, and 0.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Leksand on average 2.1 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.53).
