4,900 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Lessebo (-32.6 %), of which 4,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 790 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 45 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 33 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (84 nights).

1,400 rooms (-38.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 300 rooms (-60.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 17,900 registered bed nights (-30.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (-55.5 %) for foreigners in Lessebo, in total 19,200 (-32.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lessebo out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

2,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.7 percent were domestic, and 13.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.8 nights (+0.08) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.3).
