Registered bed nights increased 62 percent

In April 2021, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Lessebo (+62.1 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 23 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 68 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 62 percent from last year's April.

900 rooms (+18.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 220 rooms (+298.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 8,300 registered bed nights (-25.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23 (-92.7 %) for foreigners in Lessebo, in total 8,400 (-26.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lessebo out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 40 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.8 percent were domestic, and 0.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.5 nights (+0.2) and foreigners 7.7 nights (+6.1).
