5,000 registered bed nights

In October 2019, 5,000 bed nights were recorded in Lessebo (-7.4 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 480 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased nine percent and foreign bed nights increased six percent. In total, bed nights decreased seven percent from last year's October.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (40 nights).

2,000 rooms (+8.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-15.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 53,200 bed nights (-7.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,500 (-6.5 %) for foreigners in Lessebo, in total 64,800 (-7.6 %) nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 4.1 million bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lessebo out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,600 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 93.8 percent were domestic, and 6.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.3 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.82).
