Registered bed nights increased 37 percent

In June 2022, 9,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Lessebo (+37.4 %), of which 7,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 37 percent from last year's June.

2,400 rooms (+42.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 930 rooms (+221.4 %) by business visitors.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lessebo out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 1.8 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. In Lessebo, length of stay in June was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lessebo on average 1.7 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights .

5,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.9 percent were domestic, and 23.1 percent were from foreign countries.
