14,700 registered bed nights

In November 2019, 14,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Lidingö (-3.6 %), of which 13,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased four percent from last year's November.

2,300 rooms (+12.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 8,500 rooms (-13.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 135,000 registered bed nights (-2.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 16,000 (+8.8 %) for foreigners in Lidingö, in total 151,000 (-1.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lidingö out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased six percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. In Lidingö, length of stay in November was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lidingö on average 1.8 nights (+1.1 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-5.1 %).

8,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.3 percent were domestic, and 4.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lidingö on average 1.8 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.07).
