6,300 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 6,300 bed nights were recorded in Lidköping (-14.8 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and foreign bed nights decreased 58 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 15 percent from last year's March.

670 rooms (-50.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-21.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 16,600 bed nights (-2.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,800 (-33.8 %) for foreigners in Lidköping, in total 18,400 (-6.9 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lidköping out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,500 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lidköping on average 2.5 nights (+0.46) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.31).
