Registered bed nights increased 54 percent

In April 2021, 13,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Lidköping (+54.4 %), of which 13,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 55 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 40 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 54 percent from last year's April.

1,100 rooms (+138.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+74.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 29,800 registered bed nights (+18.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-49.7 %) for foreigners in Lidköping, in total 30,800 (+13.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lidköping out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

5,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 64 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.2 percent were domestic, and 2.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lidköping on average 2.6 nights (-0.15) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-0.1).
