Paid bed nights

4,600 registered bed nights

In December 2018, 4,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Lidköping (-1.4 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 580 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's December.

600 rooms (-22.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+9.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 192,000 registered bed nights (+4.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 36,500 (+8.2 %) for foreigners in Lidköping, in total 228,000 (+5.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased seven percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Lidköping, length of stay in December was on average 2.8 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-0.1 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lidköping on average 2.8 nights (+11.4 %) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+5.0 %).

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.3 percent were domestic, and 12.7 percent were from foreign countries.
