Registered bed nights increased 44 percent

In September 2021, 8,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Lindesberg (+44.3 %), of which 8,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 840 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 350 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 44 percent from last year's September.

1,200 rooms (+5.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+24.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 83,100 registered bed nights (+7.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,400 (+161.5 %) for foreigners in Lindesberg, in total 88,600 (+11.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lindesberg out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

4,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 79 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.0 percent were domestic, and 8.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lindesberg on average 1.9 nights (-0.5) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-0.08).
