7,900 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 7,900 bed nights were recorded in Lindesberg (-2.7 %), of which 7,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased two percent and foreign bed nights decreased 10 percent. In total, bed nights decreased three percent from last year's September.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Finland (300 nights).

1,600 rooms (+130.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+9.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 79,100 bed nights (+10.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,400 (+0.7 %) for foreigners in Lindesberg, in total 93,500 (+9.1 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lindesberg out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

4,000 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 11 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 90.8 percent were domestic, and 9.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lindesberg on average 2.0 nights (-0.22) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-1.1).
