Registered bed nights increased 23 percent

In April 2021, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Lindesberg (+23.3 %), of which 4,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 310 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 23 percent from last year's April.

580 rooms (-6.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 770 rooms (+311.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,900 registered bed nights (-17.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 480 (+8.6 %) for foreigners in Lindesberg, in total 13,400 (-16.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lindesberg out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.5 percent were domestic, and 5.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lindesberg on average 2.7 nights (-0.54) and foreigners 3.4 nights (-15).
