Lindesberg: Tourism in a nutshell

7,400 registered bed nights
In September 2022, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Lindesberg (-17.4 %), of which 6,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 870 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased three percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 17 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Slovakia (290 nights).
820 rooms (+85.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+6.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 87,500 registered bed nights (+5.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,100 (+85.4 %) for foreigners in Lindesberg, in total 97,600 (+10.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.9 percent were domestic, and 11.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lindesberg on average 3.5 nights (+0.48) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+0.92).
