Registered bed nights increased 83 percent
In May 2022, 64,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Linköping (+82.6 %), of which 56,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 77 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 137 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 83 percent from last year's May.
19,400 rooms (+90.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 24,500 rooms (+121.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 201,000 registered bed nights (+70.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,400 (+106.3 %) for foreigners in Linköping, in total 227,000 (+73.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 90 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.4 percent were domestic, and 8.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Linköping on average 1.8 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 2.9 nights (-0.71).
