Registered bed nights increased 123 percent

In April 2021, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (+122.8 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 330 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 129 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 82 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 123 percent from last year's April.

610 rooms (+77.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+104.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 9,100 registered bed nights (-5.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 980 (-57.4 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 10,100 (-15.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ljungby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 97 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljungby on average 1.6 nights (+0.14) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+1.1).
