3,800 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (-57.3 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 680 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 86 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 57 percent from last year's June.

910 rooms (-55.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 940 rooms (-27.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 15,300 registered bed nights (-28.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,300 (-69.4 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 18,600 (-42.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ljungby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

2,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 64 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.1 percent were domestic, and 17.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljungby on average 1.9 nights (+0.32) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+0.29).
