Registered bed nights increased 116 percent
In December 2021, 4,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (+115.7 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 127 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 116 percent from last year's December.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (98 nights).
1,100 rooms (+79.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (+66.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 57,500 registered bed nights (+57.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 24,300 (+126.0 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 81,700 (+72.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 179 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.1 percent were domestic, and 6.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljungby on average 1.5 nights (-0.56) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+0.25).
