Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 12 percent

In October 2018, 4,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (+11.7 %), of which 3,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 18 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's October.

1,300 rooms (-2.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+8.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 43,200 registered bed nights (-5.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 32,000 (+8.5 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 75,200 (+0.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.9 million registered bed nights (+6.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+5.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 956,000 nights (+9.2 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased 11 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Ljungby, length of stay in October was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+1.0 %).
