Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 16 percent

In November 2019, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (+16.4 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 107 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 16 percent from last year's November.

1,300 rooms (-2.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,500 rooms (+49.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 45,300 registered bed nights (-3.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 36,700 (+12.6 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 82,100 (+3.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ljungby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Ljungby, length of stay in November was on average 1.5 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljungby on average 1.5 nights (-4.6 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-16.0 %).

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 74.1 percent were domestic, and 25.9 percent were from foreign countries.
