Paid bed nights

8,100 registered bed nights

In July 2020, 8,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljungby (-58.5 %), of which 6,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 21 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 82 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 58 percent from last year's July.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (930 nights).

2,000 rooms (-30.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 760 rooms (+5.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and July, 21,300 registered bed nights (-26.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,500 (-76.0 %) for foreigners in Ljungby, in total 26,800 (-48.3 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Ljungby, length of stay in July was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-0.2 %).

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljungby on average 2.0 nights (+6.9 %) and foreigners 3.1 nights (+16.9 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 80.9 percent were domestic, and 19.1 percent were from foreign countries.
