Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 13 percent

In June 2019, 11,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljusdal (+13.0 %), of which 10,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 29 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 13 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (480 nights).

1,500 rooms (+113.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (-17.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 55,400 registered bed nights (+5.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,400 (+89.1 %) for foreigners in Ljusdal, in total 59,800 (+8.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ljusdal out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Ljusdal, length of stay in June was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljusdal on average 2.1 nights (+1.8 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+2.0 %).

5,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.2 percent were domestic, and 16.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljusdal on average 2.1 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.6).
