3,900 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 3,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Ljusdal (-42.7 %), of which 3,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 43 percent from last year's April.

137 rooms (-83.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 940 rooms (-48.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 34,100 registered bed nights (-14.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (-32.1 %) for foreigners in Ljusdal, in total 35,300 (-15.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased 23 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. In Ljusdal, length of stay in April was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ljusdal on average 2.6 nights (+4.9 %) and foreigners 6.6 nights (-22.8 %).

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.3 percent were domestic, and 0.7 percent were from foreign countries.
