12,100 registered bed nights

In November 2021, 12,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Lofoten, of which 8,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,500 nights by foreigners.

4,800 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 2,400 nights by business visitors.

Between January and November, 306,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 79,700 for foreigners in Lofoten, in total 386,000 registered nights.

Market share 0.6 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lofoten out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 1.4 %.

6,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 74.9 percent were domestic, and 25.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lofoten on average 1.9 nights and foreigners 2.3 nights.
