11,900 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 11,900 bed nights (+6.9 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Lohja in April 2018. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 91 % and non-registered 8.6 %.
Between January and April, the number of paid bed nights was 46,700 (+16.2 %). Share of registered was 89 % and non-registered 11 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded. Non-registered bed nights statistics include bed nights from AirBnB and Vrbo.
Paid bed nights
10,800 registered bed nights
In April 2018, 10,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Lohja (-0.9 %), of which 10,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 640 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 34 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's April.
8,200 nights (+1.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,600 nights (-8.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 36,600 registered bed nights (+2.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,000 (+30.8 %) for foreigners in Lohja, in total 41,600 (+5.1 %) registered nights.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lohja on average 1.9 nights (-4.1 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+46.5 %).

Total January-April sales were 1.9 million euro and they increased 367,000 euro from the previous year.
