9,900 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 9,900 bed nights (+23.4 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Lohja in February 2022. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 79 % and non-registered 21 %.
Between January and February, the number of paid bed nights was 18,000 (+9.9 %). Share of registered was 76 % and non-registered 24 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded. Non-registered bed nights statistics include bed nights from AirBnB and Vrbo.
Registered bed nights increased 31 percent
In February 2022, 7,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Lohja (+30.7 %), of which 7,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 220 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 75 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 31 percent from last year's February.
6,600 nights (+36.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (+6.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 11,500 registered bed nights (+0.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (+609.3 %) for foreigners in Lohja, in total 13,700 (+16.8 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lohja on average 1.7 nights (+0.06) and foreigners 3.3 nights (+2.2).

Accommodation sales 413,000 euro
Total accommodation sales in February were 413,000 euro (+64,000). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 23.6 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 315,000 euro (+54,400) and non-registered sales 97,300 euro (+9,600).
Total January-February sales were 742,000 euro and they increased 32,100 euro from the previous year.
